If thay are like a 47 pu thay are 1/4 in fine thread,acorn head style.I found these at the local ace hardware store.Thay had them chrome plated and also stanless steel.

fastnel services has 7/16x14 allthread made from 4140 alloy steel,this is not the soft type you get at the local hard ware store. It comes in 3 or 6 ft.sticks and would need to be cut to whatever length you needed.part numbers are 47671 and47455. …

FWIW Many long years ago when flathead fords were being hotroded it was common practice to releave the cl. block between the valves and cly. This gave a better flow between the valves and cly.also reduced compression some.I would think work on the …

Help - electrical problem
I had that happen 1 time on a mopar.Some one had wraped the sender switch with teflon?tape to keep it from leaking and it (the tape)prevented the switch from grounding to the block.

If one end is increased in size the outher one must be allso to keep them in balance.The master cly.may not displace enough fluid to operate them.Making for a low brake pedal.The only way around that would be to increace the size of the master cly.T…

Please be very careful on making one end of the brakes stronger than the outher.Thay need to be balanced together.If the rear is to strong it will lock up before the front can do any good.This results in the back wheels skidding when you have to sto…

Missing splines
Get your knuckle and shaft lined up like it should be.Then drill a hole through the nuckel, shaft and out the other side of the nuckle.then drive a pin through both.Split pins work well for this.

47 Hudson pickup, need headliner bows
The front bow is 59 in.total length The rear bow is 63 in.total length Both have both ends flat with a 1/4 in. hole in each end(if I were making them,I would drill and tap for a 10x32 screw so I wouldnt have to try and hold a nut.)

Sometimes a plug can look good,and still be bad.(conductor inside insulater broken ect.) try trading plugs with anouther cly.and see if the mis moves with the plug or stayes where it is.

12 V voltage regulator

Door Hinge Pins - Removal & Replacement (?)...
Check your pin holes for over size and egg shape before getting new pins. Thay may need to be drilled out to a larger size,and a over size pin made.
