It's a 34, 35 did not have an oil level guage and the hole on the right side was larger for the key switch instead of the starter push button.

Grinding Tappets ( Cam followers )1935-1947 6 and 8 Hudson engines.
If you flatten out the radius to 4" you can pick up some duration in the cam timing and a bit more horsepower.

The 33T convertible uses a completely different w/shield frame than the coupes & sedans. it is a u-channel with a hinge across the top like the 30-31 Hudson sedans used. Tom

How tight are you are you torqueing them ? The spec is only 45lf/ft and the original studs should be able to handle that amount.

The part I need is A-37105, listed down a bit from the body sockets. As you will see they are temporarily discontinued at this time. The A-37101 are the body sockets that fit into the car body and seem to be readily available Tom

I looked at their listings, the body socket is pictured above the pic that you posted. I can get as many of the body sockets as I need, just not the part that goes into the top material.

Jon, The ones I need are like a grommet that goes into the top material. The ones shown here are the opposite as they go into the body. Mine has the female side going into the body. I will check them out anyway. Tom

1920? Essex Grille
This radiator shell is a little newer than 1920, it fits the first 6 cylinder Essex from 1924 to 1926. The 1919-1923 shells had a beveled angle where this shell has a rounded corner where the top meets the sides. Tom

stepdown rocker panels
I was at the meet in OKC, there had to be at least 30-40 rocker panels there for sale. Most were 4dr lwb, but they are still out there if you look around. I know Carl Weber had at least 6 there for sale and did'nt sell one. Tom Brintnall.
