Compression ratio Question.
It's easy to figure it out, the compression ratio is the ratio of cylinder volume to the combustion camber volume in the head....... Ok, if the head hasn't been milled too much, a cast iron 232 head on a 262 would be 262/232= 13% increase…

Twin H, take the L shaped radiator brackets out and flip them over, then the radiator can be reinstalled over an inch forward.

Sedan rear seat will not fit coupe, as the sedan seat is a bit narrower, due to the body tapering towards rear of car and the sedan seat is set several inches further back. The rear seat from any other 48-54 coupe will fit, but the ones from 52 Pace…

I meant "or". MIG is the most common way, not everyone has TIG. If you can get a fish plate inside there behind the crack, then that is fine too. Must have been late when I posted that, too tired to proof read....

I think if I were to weld that crack, first I would drill an 1/8" hole at the end of the crack to relieve the stress on it, next take a Dremel with a thin cutting disc and "v" the crack for the weld bead to lay in then weld with MIG …

Just be sure the car is in NEUTRAL before you ever push that solenoid button! Been there, done that, never again! No major damage, just a "Depends Moment", and a majorly PO'd moment.
