Sorry Rustjunkey, I have nothing to add at the moment. I sold my 1955 President coupe last year (and bought a 1937 Hudson Terraplane...) Don't despair, we still have three Studes in the barn! :D

Even thought all the NAPA numbers matched up, we got different points that have a wire and not that arm piece. The points with the wire match up to the existing part on the the car (not to say that one is correct...) I found a factory rebuilt fuel…

@ Geoff - going with Karr in Montana. Hubby talked with the guy and he seems very knowledgeable. Turnaround in three weeks (hopefully...) The machine shop also spoke with him and were happy with what he had to say on the subject. :-bd

@ PAULARGETYPE - the engine is out and at a local machine shop for rebuild. If you could give me measurements for the ones you have in stock I can put a call into the shop to measure the ones they pulled. Thx.
