Yes, when you hit the road that has cement laid and is not level, you will never have the steering wheel move in your hand. Bias ply tires will throw from side to side. Put Radials on and enjoy better steering. Walt.

Brake shoes for my 54
Browniepetersen, the anchoring point is larger at the top, while Hudson shoes are narrow at the top. So the anchor point has to be moved down. If you have my tech tip books go to Volume two (2) to page 15 and read how to move the anchor pin. Walt.

Up to 1947 and 48 to first series 1952 are Hudson rears and the backing plate comes off. Second series 52 to 54 are Dana rears and the backing plates are part of the rear, do not try to remove them as they are riveted on. Walt.

You can go to any auto store and get #55 for the rears, only fronts available are 263 but must have the anchor pin adjusted using Walt's way to fit them. Walt.

tested my gas gage and it works!
Do not have any gas tanks coated inside. With todays gas, 10 and 15 per sent Alcohol it will soften and ruin filters and fuel pumps and carburetors. The 15 percent can ruin new cars with fuel induction systems as it turns to water if left to staye…
