Front stone guards
-
I'm looking for a picture of the front wheel well that shows the stone guard and canvas flaps on a stepdown. A previous owner of my 53 Hornet pop rivetted a repair at the bottom of the metal stone guard so I don't know exactly how it all fits together.
Thanks,
Ed -
I imagine that if you order new ones from K-Gap they will come with some kind of diagram of where they go.
I can take some photos this weekend, give me a couple of days.

Thanks Bent Metal. I do intend to order from K-Gap but I would be very grateful if you would take a picture or two. I look forward to it.
As usual, this forum is a great place for Hudsonites

These may of may not help. They are not close ups of what you want.

Thanks SR. Every little bit helps.

I'm still looking for additional pictures of the stepdown wheel well that show the stone guard and canvas material. If anyone has front view pictures of a restoration in progress it would help me in trying to sort out how things are assembled at the back of the front wheel well.
Thanks
Ed -
This is an original ( I think ), 1951 Super Eight. It might be a little different then yours. But I don't think much different.
Hope this helps.
