new Hudson Owners

    Hello everyone, Sorry for my english cause i usually speak in french. My Husband & i had buy an Hudson Commodore sedan 1949. This lady need TLC & I can't wait to see her again on the road but it could take years if we want to do a good job on her.......But we have a little problem with her: she doesn't have a Hood!!!I had look in my area & we can't find any..... So I'm hoping to find a hood for her elsewhere......If someone have 1 extra advailable I'll be glad to hear about it....Sincerely yours Edith B.

    Welcome from another 49 Commadore owner. Mine didn't look very good when I got it either. You'll find lots of help on this forum.



    Check with Bill Albright for a hood, or maybe someone else will post here with a good one. My extras are bent and rusted.

    Check with Thom Bixby in Massachusetts. He had several hoods in the flea market at the Hudson Club's National meet last July. Ph: 413.527.2730

    Only at the hinge end. Would not work with the 51-53 grille .
