Trying to ID an old wreck...
-
There's an old abandoned rustbucket in the woods near my house, and I've wondered for a long time what it once might've been, just for the heck of it. Recently someone clued me into the idea of asking about it on the forums, so I went out and took some pictures. It's pretty far gone, but if someone has a clue as to the make, model, or even year, I'd love to know. The first picture shows the general shape of the thing and a taillight, the second is the front fender and former engine space, and the third shows what remains of the center column.

-
It's a 1954 Chevy automobile. Looks to have been a coupe.
-
1953 Chevrolet---Taillite is '53, not '54.
-
Could it have been a '53 Bel Air coupe? I just saw a picture of one and thought I recognized the taillight.
-
I stand corrected. You are right. I always get the tailights from 53 and 54 mixed up.
-
Would this be in Ohio near Ceasers creek lake, there is a 53 or 54 like it overlooking the lake right off RT 73.
