drip rails
-
I was reading an article today about a restoration done on a pickup where they "rolled the drip rails." Anyone have any information on this process and maybe some pictures. Thanks. I'm interested in possibly doing that on my 53 Ford Customline

sillwic9,
Your talking about a lot of work here. You cut off the old L channel drip rail and replace it with a rod with the same radius and weld it on. Spot weld at first then skip weld tell its all welded up. Clean up the weld and use a little filler to refine your work if needed. Take your time welding the last thing you want do do is wrap it. Good luck with your project. Sorry i have no pictures.
