1937 TP running boards
-
Are the outside edges of the '37 boards covered by the rubber board matting or are they painted body color and left bare?
I'm finally getting off my procrastinating butt this week and putting the boards on the Brougham, but I need to know what is correct!"The time has come", the Walrus said, "to speak of many things. Of shoes and ships and sealing wax, of cabbages and kings. And why the sea is boiling hot,

I just stripped the covering off of ours - they were covered all the way down. I have a 4 dr & need the pass. side running board- the one I have has maybe 1" that is repairable. Someone had a major hit on that side & did a number on the running board. Any help would be appreciated.

OK, that is what I needed to know. I really did not want to have to paint the outer edge of the boards the same as the body. I'm going to shoot the boards black, then put the rubber on them.
Thanks!"The time has come", the Walrus said, "to speak of many things. Of shoes and ships and sealing wax, of cabbages and kings. And why the sea is boiling hot,
