Annual Antique Nationals - Bill Albright

    JUNE 8 AT THE FONTANA, CAL SPEEDWAY DRAGSTRIP AND THE ANNUAL ANTIQUE NATIONALS. VINTAGE COACHS HUDSON RACING TEAM, AND ONE CAR FOR THE SHOW. 49 CONV TOOK BEST 32 TO 54 WITH OVER 50 CARS IN THE CLASS, YELLOW CONV WITH 7X, HEADERS AND B AND M HYDRO MADE IT TO THE SEMIFINALS BEFORE BEING ELIMINATED, I DROVE THE TRUCK WON FIRST PASS AND LOST IN SECOND ROUND BLACK CL8 WITH TRIPOWER HORNET LOST IN FIRST ROUN D, HAD A GREAT DAY , 17 CARS IN THE CLASS WITH 9 HUDSONS RUNNING.

    What I like is Bill drag racing a convertible, a very expensive car. I love the attitude!

    My Son In Law, Jasons Dad Drove The Convert, I Drove The 46 Pickup And I Gave The Black Sedan To Fellow Club Member To Drive, Just Made Him Buy The Gas Lol, Bill A.

    The pale yellow step down is a coupe. It had the top cut off and a convertible cowl put on. I'm sure Mr. Albright would have corrected on this but he just didn't see the post yet.;)

    Dalmost Rlight Roy, It Was A Derelict Hollywood, Now Has A Carson Top We Left At Home, The Truck Has A Older 32ll7 Chev V8l That Almost Beat Me Son In Law In The Suedo Convert, I Lost By One Lelngth, But Was Happy To Get Beat By My Hudson Lol, Bill Albright Both Ran 17.5 To 18.00 Flat

    That Gold convertible is striking in person and the engine compartment is really nice too. I don't know who did the wood graining but it looks 'wet' it was soo smooth. Nice.:)

    The Gold Conv That Won The Best 32 To 54 Was The Ugly White Rusty Olds Powered One That I Advertised Last May And Decided Not To Punish Anyone With It So We Did It In Less Than A Year. Glad I Kept It Price Now,p Retty Steep Lol Bill A.
