Motor Clearence
-
I,m new to this bunch so some history first. Just finish 30 sedan with a flat in it and now starting a 1928 coupe full fendered with a 1972 302 and a C4. I like to put chevy with chevy and ford with ford but beleive each to there own. I don't do high end rides and I do all of my own work. I try to get the biggest bang for my buck. Here the problem front clearence fan to radiator. Ford people don't have the verity of pulleys and mounts that the other brand does so I'm looking for different ideals. Like moving alternator to driverside or any ideals out there Thanks Mitch

You might want to look at the water pump setup on a V8 explorer as they are shorter then the rest of the SBFs,you will probably need the timing chain cover too and would have to use a serpentine belt but they will give more room up front. Parts are probably expensive at the dealer but they should be in the junkyards now. Jeff
