1965 Mercury Parklane
-
Hello !
I have a beauty 65 mercury parklane breezeway that still has drum brakes. I have heard you can mod them into disk brakes and would like to know how. Anyone out there with any info on parts or how to..drop me some info - Id really appreciate it. Thanks!!

Is Mercury, under the Ford company?

My brother has a 64 mercury comet with original front drums, we found original spindles, disks, and calipers off a mid 60's fairlane to put on it. I dont know much more than the fact that some of the original equipment for disk brakes in the 60's were interchangeable between different ford and mercury models.

Mercury is made by Ford genius... Dont waste other peoples time by posting lame comments-

Since the Parklane is a full sized car discs from a 77 to 79 thunderbird wil work as I put them on my 65 custom 500,68 to 72 galaxie discs are a little larger. They bolt on but the outer tierod ends need to be changed to 68 to 72 galaxies . Jeff
