What kind of car is that?
-
Hey Everybody!!!
For a classic car rallye the organisers sent me a picture of a car:
I have no clue, what kind of car this could be and hope, at least one of you can help me!?!?!?
Thanks a lot in advance,
Peter -
I'd say an AC Bristol."The time has come", the Walrus said, "to speak of many things. Of shoes and ships and sealing wax, of cabbages and kings. And why the sea is boiling hot,
And whether pigs have wings..." -
I doubt it's a Bristol unless it has had a lot of custom work. Most likely its a kit car. The enclosed headlamps, hood vents, one piece wrap-around windscreen are ear-marks of a more modern design. Its either a custom or a kit IMHO.

Either way, it has a very nice look to it!

Looks like a Maserati to me. The emblem is fuzzy in the pic, but definitely looks like the late 1950's-early 1960's era emblem. If you pull up pictures from old Maseratis the headlights are very streamlined like this as well, and the grill looks very European.
