I know this has been covered a thousand times and I should print out the instructions and tape it to my computer but never do. I have some pics I can post of the WR but can't remember how to do it. I believe you place the pics in photobucket then you have to use the Go Advanced step then I forget what to do. Can someone post how to do it again.
    Thanks

when you post, click on the yellow square icon. Then put the URL of the photo (which is posted somewhere on the internet) into the window that opens up. Then click okay. Do this for each photo.

Here's how to post photos if you don't have a Website to store them on:

    1. Save your photo as a jpeg. at 72 dpi, about 4 x 6" in size. save it somewhere where you can easily find it, like your desktop.

    2. Click on "New Thread" on this site.

    3. When your ClassicCar posting box appears, scroll down to "Manage Attachments." Click on "Manage Attachements."

    4. A new dialog box appears. The top option is "Upload file from your computer." Click on "Browse" and find the photo you saved.

    5. Click on "Upload" to the right of the "browse" window.

    6. Wait until the name of your photo appears in red above the words "Attachment key" If your photo is too large, the system will tell you.

    7. Close the "Manage Attachments" box. The name of your photo will appear in red in the "Attach Files" space below your ClassicCar posting box.

    8. Type your message. You can click "Preview Post" to see your photo and message.

    9. Post your message and photo.

    Good Luck!

Thanks for posting this information. I've been wanting to try it, but didn't have a clue how to do it.

Now all I need is the spare time to try it!

    Have a GREAT DAY

The other day when I posted with photos, one photo worked fine and displayed on the post but when I attached another, the first disappeared from being displayed and both were only as attachment links. Couldn't work it out as I have seen many posts with multiple photos displayed.

What am I doing wrong? Help for the future would be appreciated.

    Thanks, Alistair

An alternate method for posting pictures, which sometimes requires a bit more work on your part, however the results are more direct, and up to four pictures can be put into any 'post'...

Go here and upload your pictures. They must be less that 102400 bytes -
    http://www.classiccar.com/upload.php

Remember the name of the picture file - i.e., if it is "46HudPU.jpg", that is exactly how it must be typed - this is case specific, and the picture will not show if it is typed incorrectly.

Click the icon shown in the screenshot below (circled in red), and it will bring up a box -
    pp_1.jpg

    Here is my example -
    pp_2.jpg
In place of the "46HudPU.jpg" you would type the file name that you had uploaded in the first step (see link, above)

    Poof! The picture -
    46HudPU.jpg
No, not mine - but wish it was... Haven't yet found the owner of this truck, and have been looking for about 4 years.
