66 C10 Wiring Change
-
Hey Guys,
I am thinking about pulling a 92 Chevy S10 Blazer wiring harness and installing it into my classic 66 Chevy C10. I am also going to pull the steering colum and install it too. I wanted to check with you guys to see if there were any "Do's & Dont's" I should watch for or any tips for making it a succesfull change over.
Thanks Guys.

hey phil, the steering column shouldn't be a problem just as long as it mates to the gear box. i would cut enough of the dash side connector so you have alot to play with. as for the wiring harness, depending on which one you want from the s10, i would go with an aftermarket universal harness personally. the come with installation instructions and are marked every 6-8 inches for installation and trouble shooting. that's if you are planning on totally rewiring your whole truck. also if you go that route, i would find a wiring schematic for that truck as well. good luck
