39 Hudson Coupe
-
I like this 39 coupe on ebay. I can't believe he is selling it without a reserve.

Looks like they're doing pretty good - already @ $5,300.00
-
Gee.........I kinda like this car! (it looks better than the one in my garage) Perhaps my wife would like one too. His-N-Hers '39 112 coupes. Waddya think???
-
rip out your chceckbook. . . its got real possibilities me thinks. . . then she can ride by herself. not a bad plan.
-
Go for it Kevin, but don't try to shoehorn a 202 in it, lol
-
The correction just recently posted says that it is green!?! I realize that pictures are deceiving but............???
-
got some real good possabilites and all compltete and with double over head horns, you will be able to blast anyone that gets near to it LOL
-
If its green he needs to post pictures of the real car this one in gunmetal silver grey metallic in my eyes.www.hudsonmotorcar.org

If the car in the pictures is the actual car for sale, that would be one of my dream Hudson automobiles. I love '39 Hudson coupes, especially the ones with the headlights in the fenders.
'39 and '49 are my two favorite years for Hudson.
I'm not going to be in the running for a '39 anytime soon, no telling how long it will take to get my '49 in shape - LOL.
MarkGimme a Hudson, with that "Instant Action" -
BTW - Queried the seller about any 'spare parts' for a 39. He doesn't have any for that year, but says he has quite a few parts for 37's...
If interested, you might want to inquire. I'll steer him in the direction of the Forum... -

Buyer Beware!
Did you notice his note that stated the owner only took it out twice, but had 400 miles on it?? Rather long drives around the neighborhood it seems! With the prior owner not being honest, makes one take caution on the rest! Green - grey.........again makes one wonder!!!
Good luck but be very careful!!!! -
If you look carefully at the pictures, this car has NOT been restored. The gators are still on the leaf springs and the interior appears to be original. The engine certainly doesn't appear restored. It might be a pretty good original car with a fresh coat of paint??
-
looks good to me, i would be interested in the 37 parts.
-
I'm not trying to start any arguments BUT in the discription I read it did not say the number of times it was driven and if you look at the photo of the front where the sun is shining it apppears to be a very dark green. I have seen a similar color on another early 40's car. It looks black or very dark gray when you first look at it or if it's not out in the direct sun light.

IMHO - Shouldn't & wouldn't hurt to ask. Click on the link to the auction, Click "Ask Seller a question", and ask about '37 parts... (Tell him "Trucker.at.Heart" referred you...looks good to me, i would be interested in the 37 parts.
