Internet Movie Car Database
-
Check on cars in movies with pix on this website:

Hudson has some representation but I think that the big companies often loaned movie cars for free (or perhaps paid to get the visibility "advertising"), the "Big Three" dominate.
An interesting site though, that even shows background cars.

Wow - somebody spent a lot of time putting that together. -
I think they missed a couple. The pink Hudson in Porkys and the convertable in The Two Jakes.
mike -
They also missed a couple in 'The Public Eye'. My '38 - 112 was in it as well as a beautiful brown '42 of another Chi-Mil member whose name escapes me at the moment. My apologies!

I dunno if this is in the movie cars database...didn't check, but just saw the movie "Diner" that prominently features what appears to be a 1952 Hudson Wasp Sedan. two-tone red and off white.

Several years ago "The Jesse Owens Story" a made for television movie contained a cameo appearance of a '36 Terraplane. According to the story he obtained this car after his triumphant performance at the 1936 Olympics in Germany.

There are a couple Hudsons in the movie "Pleasantville."
-
How can we forget that memorable 'A Christmas Story' since TNT bombards us with 24 hours of it starting Christmas Eve. After Ralphy kicks the crap out of the bully, there's a beautiful '37 (?) Terraplane right in the forefront of the shot.

I came flying off my seat when I noticed the burgandy Jet in Pleasantville!
Take a Ride in a Hudson Jet! -
There was a beautiful '29 in, was it Bonnie & Clyde???

I was watching L.A. Confidential this morning with my husband and was very excited to see a Hudson Jet, blue top with black body. I want to say I saw one like this on the Vintage Vehicle show that featured Bill Albright's Twin-H ranch? Is this the same car?Take a Ride in a Hudson Jet!
