Packard. There is no other make of automobile, all the other's are just "cars".
-
Them there are fighting words.
-
Well, if it matters any, Hudson's #2.....
-
Domestic makes ----Hudson, then Packard, have owned them in they're prime , none of the other cars I owned in my time could even come close on quality in any area

I've always been enamored by the best. The best car to ever come out of Detroit was a Hudson, hands down. Packard (at least Pre-War) a fairly close 2nd. Hudsons were WAY over-engineered. Nothing even comes close and I've worked on them all.
Best to come out of Chicago was a Tucker.
Best out of Indy was Duesenberg.
Best out of UK: Rolls.
I'm a fan of most any car built prior to '72 and mostly '29-'57 (the Golden Years). -
Gee.... lets see. Hudson, Terraplane, Essex. Then Graham, Hupp, Reo, Gardner, Overland, (sigh). I guess for me it just has to be older than 1935. I like cut under buggies and surries, too.....
-
Modern - Ford Falcon (Australian) on my 3rd over the last 6+ years and love them! Better than a Holden :)
Vintage - Essex & Hudson (of course!) -
Hudson stepdown 8's

All Hudsons, Essex & Terraplanes - I'm second generation Hud-Nut. My Father was a Hudson-Terraplane Dealer from mid 1933 thru mid 1955, and we were even servicing Essexs that had been sold in the area before he became the authorized dealer.
I have the '51 Commodore 6 my Father sold to my Grandfqather in Nov. 1950, A 1933 Essex-Terraplane Coach, A '53 SuperJet Sedan & and 1954 Hornet Club Coupe

My name is nick Hansen and i own a 1937 Nash Lafayette 400 two door sedan and i wold have to say that the nash and the ford is my two favorit makes.
and i am 26 years old. -
This is a funny post for the Hudson page. I would expect that the answer would always be the Hudson that I am working on, sold, or have out in the shop? Over the years I have sought out various cars, bought them, built them and then sold them. I have owned or worked on most brands and can say that some have been fun. However; with that said my car of choice today would be my 36 Hudson Stratton Sport Saloon or my 54 Hornet Special.Brownie

Mercedes Benz. Consistently outstanding engineering and design leadership and corporate survival skills. THE BEST OR NOTHING (Die Beste oder Nichts) is their meaningful slogan.
-
HUDSON!
-
Hudson first, Hudson second, Hudson third, Hudson fourth!
-
Supercharged Graham, Hudson (Essex) in the '30's, Moon, Kissel, in the '20's, Jug Overland in the teens, Locomobile, Grout steamer, Mercedes in the oughts.
-
Aircooled Volkswagens, 49-67 - the earlier the better. Simple and functional. Hudsons number 2. Though I am a fan of the post war to 57 era body styles. If hudson Made a station wagon, it would move to number 1.
-
fair enough, Thats very well done. Id like to see a 52 hornet Wagon, who has the photoshop skills? Its only missing a surf board.. oops on the spelling error
-
The pictures of the Hudson woodie wagon are not photoshoped. It is a real car based on Don Butler's drawings, and was at Auburn IN. national meet.
-
I know its a real car, I though id like to see a 52 Hornet vs a 48/49 is what I was trying to say.
