Hudson 8's had all the good stuff, heads, 2 carb manifolds and special carbs to go with it. I had all that stuff on my 49 and 52. Who would of thought that we would be looking for parts like that today. When I closed shop and moved to Florida, I left all to my nephew, and never did find out what happened to all 8 speed parts. I bought a rebuilt 254 from the Royer estate with an aluminum head on it. Supposed to have upped the HP from 128 to 138. I sold it because I had an extra iron head with the HUDSON cast on the top and liked the looks better.
