what's this Hudson actually worth?
-
-
Its a shabby car needing work and probably a repaint, the color on it was mixed and sprayed in different batches hence the right rear door being lighter than the front door and quarter. I would say it is more in the $3,000- $4,000 ballpark. I sure wouldn't part with $7,000 for that.
-
another dreamer who knows little about Hudson's. Car is a project and is overpriced.
-
I like this quote " (Commodore rust buckets go for at least $10,000) "
Maybe he meant "(Commodore rust buckets go for at least 10,000 miles )" , much more accurate. :) -
Did you see the steering wheel ?
RogerRetired Tech. -
Yes I saw das Lenkrad, le Volant, the steering wheel.............needs recasting= $700 minimum.
-
Maybe he just needs to move his decimal point. :)
-
I'll give him credit for having done a lot to the car. He just need's be a little more tactfull in his ad if he wants to sell it . And why cant we see under the hood ?
RogerRetired Tech. -
Bottom line, and not trying to be negative here, is a car is worth exactly what you pay for it - normally.
Certainly that '52 that went off the block for, what, $150k certainly wasn't worth the bid price, so there are exceptions, when idiots show up with more money than brains, to the above rule.

thanks guys.
he did send me a short video of it.
i could tell it was a project, but wasn't sure what'd be worth. it was offered to me in trade for my '01 mustang that needs nothing mechanically, just has some light cosmetic issues. i think i'll pass on it. thanks guys!
