Visor rod screws (8) for 37 sunvisors
-
Looks like my plater lost the 8 visor rod screws for the 37 PU sun visors. Anyone have some I could purchase?
Thanks! -
Still looking for these screws
Anyone ? -
Kerry, can you describe them? (My '37 never had a visor so I can't!)
This is an obvious question but....have you visited a good, small hardware store with all those boxes of specialty screws? I would think that the screws you seek are wood screws with an oval flat head. Not sure, but they might have something close at a hardware store...a good "place holder" until the real thing comes along. -
try" McMASTER-CARR" , They have just about every fastner ever made.

If thay are like a 47 pu thay are 1/4 in fine thread, acorn head style.I found these at the local ace hardware store.Thay had them chrome plated and also stanless steel.
-
picture added, but it doesn't show the threaded portion.

In your photo thay look the same as the 1947 pu and auto ones
