When you say honey, I've ran out of space and need to bring the fender in the house to cure she doesn't look at you like you are out of your mind and actually helps you carry it in the house. I love my wife!

She must be a very tolerant wife as that green fender doesn't go well with the wall color or the furniture! LOL

It reminds me, when I was a kid, we would not own a house, and dad would keep some parts for sale and I remember seeing a pile of tires behind their bedroom door and batteries on charge under the bathroom sink. During the war and after he was always finding tires or other things for sale or bought a car, repair it and selling it back a week later with a little profit and, in 62, he bought that 51 Hornet conv and kept it for 2 years! This is how I got the disease...Michel

I had a room in the house full of car parts, she said hey wouldn't it be better if you built a rally big garage! Tough question there.

My wife was very narrow minded about my Hudson activity around the house - we had a fair sized barn attached to the house. She didn't say to much about my rebuilding a carburetor in the kitchen - I told her it was January and 10 below zero outside and not much better in the barn.
Her main objection was when I tried to bring a transmission that needed to be overhauled into the kitchen. Still wonder why.

I'm lucky there too I guess. I thought putting an entire car in the basement might be the straw that broke the camels back, but we're good :)

My wife let me lay out the interior material on the dining room floor so I could cut it out which ment moving chairs/table to make room.Than I used her ironing board to iron out the head liner after she gave me a few tips so I wouldn't damage it.

When I was restoring my "49. My wife let me keep the reupholstered seats in the living room while waiting for the rest of the interior to be completed. She also lets me keep both Hudsons in the garage and parks her car outside. My son Matt just closed on a house with a two car garage. We helped him out with the down payment in exchange one of the Hudsons goes to his house. Lynn has put up with my Hudson fascination for almost 40 years. I guess I'll keep her. LOL
