Paying for 2013 National Meet registration from Australia

There does not seem to be a method of electronic payment offered for those registering from outside the US, neither does there seem to be an email address so I can raise this directly with those concerned.

If you go to the club web site www.HETClub.com you can click on the 2013 National Meet on the left hand side, If you are logged into the site.
If you have not logged on to the site before scroll down to the very bottom and read the directions there. Best of luck. -
The only payment info I can find on the on-line registration page is a snail mail address, I can see nothing about paying by credit card or PayPal. If someone can show me that I'm wrong I'll be delighted.
Similarly I can't see an email contact, ideally I would have raised the matter of payment methods directly with the persons concerned rather than via the forum.
Its almost as if that even though its an International meet no one wants to make it too easy for them 'furriners' to attend. ;) -
Although this forum is great for general conversation, information and technical discussions, it should no longer be considered the primary place to make inquiries concerning HET Club activities.
This forum is not an official HET Club site/location, and not the place for primary notices, updates, inquiries, etc..
As a follow-on, supplemental or additional notices posted here are ok, in order to increase awareness of HET Club activities or events -

Payment is still via snail mail. This is reported to be changed in the coming years. But not this year.

Bob, you could connect with somebody with a PayPal account you could send it to them and they could fwd it to whomever it goes to. Email a copy of your registration form at the same time either to the registrar or the person passing on your payment.

If you pay by PayPal, be sure to add about 4% so the person you are sending it too doesn't lose out to PayPal's fees. The receiver pays the fee for the transaction, the sender automatically pays the foreign currency conversion cost. In all this is usually cheaper than international wire or bank transfers.

Regarding the San Mateo International Meet Registration for our overseas friends - as mentioned above there is no provision for Credit card or Pay Pal payments for registration at this point. Perhaps send your payment to someone you know in the US with Pay Pal + include the 4% Pay Pal fee as mentioned above and ask them to pass the registration fee onto me (Tom Conner) as shown on the registration form. You can register on line on the HET Website if you wish (or mail/e-mail it to me) and then follow up with the payment. Your registration will show up on the website and the payment will be credited when received. At this point I don't have a Pay Pal account, but may look into it ASAP for this reason. Sorry for the inconvenience. In future International meets this will be figured out ahead of time. We appreciate our international friends and hope this will be simpler in the future.
