$125,000 Hudson
-
The $125,000 1952 Hudson from Chicago is back on Ebay again , In California this time . Its up to $10,000 nice car but he mentions they go for up to $178,000 and those are not as nice as his. should be interesting . Reserve is not yet met .....

Highest bid was $10,100.00 before the auction closed.
-
Maybe the eBay seller should try contacting the person who bought the other $178,000 Hudson (or possibly bidder who 'lost' in the bidding on it...). LOL! =))
All-in-all however, it does make me wonder if there was any "bidder's remorse" in the $178,000 transaction - after all was said and done (?)...
BTW - Here's the link to the closed auction (while it can still be viewed on eBay):

Sorry I didnt think to put the link in the first post 8->Retired Tech.

In the comments at bottom of the listing the guy states: "I HAD AN OIL CHANGE TODAY AND I DISCOVERED A LITTLE RUST ON THE DRIVER SIDE FLOOR. A PLATE WAS INSERTED IN BETWEEN THE TWO LAYERED FLOOR TO SOMEWHAT REPAIR IT. I JUST WANT TO BE HONEST WITH YOU."
Hudson never used a double layer floor.....I think that "plate" was inserted between the original floor and a PREVIOUS, rusted rust repair. LMAO
-
Yup Ken, saw that... I didn't inquire or mention it, as it was obvious by that one statement that the car went from a $178,000 example (LOL! :)) ) to around $8K-$10K (At MOST, if the perimeter frame is not found to be rusty...).

Well it is a nice car all kidding aside - must be $2000,00 in chrome under the hood. But he's just plain unrealistic in his expectations. He nneds to actualy pay attention to what other cars are selling for everyday . Not one two rich guy's fought over at a on line auction ,
