A bit heavy on the diamond plate, and the price :(
-
Man that would gag a maggot!!!!! I had much rather see an old car go to the crusher, than wind up mutilated like this
-
I am thinking that he wanted a Dodge? It could be saved, but for me the diamond plate would have to go. After that, it could be a good hot rod. The rest of the work looks acceptable???
Title and Licence is not a big issue--there are ways.Brownie -
I would hide it somewhere. My God how hideous can a grille get ?
-
I did not see it at first, but he welded the rear doors to the quarter panel to make it a coupe.Christopher

Must work for a fab shop and get diamond plate and expanded metal for free. What an awful mess. I'd want auto pilot so I could lay down in the back seat so no one would see me in the thing.
-
Replacement grille parts are available at Home Depot!
-
Very strange. I've never seen diamond plate on a hot rod before, and now I know why. The thing needs clearance lights and a set of horns off a Peterbilt to complete the "look".
I remember my grandad saying "Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should." -
Oh My, Im sure they are proud of it but, I would burn and crush my Hudsons if I knew that was going to happen to mine! If I was dead I would come back from the grave, at least turn over accouple of times, and haunt the builder. lol
-
Bargain down to Eleven thou or so. Buy the car, rip out & cut off the plate. Looks like there is a lot of it.
That should bring 300 to 500 at the scrap yard depending on the price of aluminum.
Buy a couple of cases of beer and sit and think about what to do next.
Then go and buy a case of Scotch. Think some more. LOl.
This guy was on a bad acid trip for quiet a while & this is the offspring. -
I looked at the pictures a few times and even the underside of the hood has the plate.
-
Egads,Yikes,Eek and WTH.
-
Something isn't right over the rear wheels either. The panels look kindof wavy, like tacked on thin sheet metal ...
-
Here are some pictures of it, since it is still listed.
