I'd like to find a couple 15 x 5.5's if anyone knows of any out there.

Just bought a set of four 15" X 5" rims, paid $125. I probably could have gotten them for a bit less if I had 'haggled' a bit...

Russell - Yup, as you indicated - those 15" X 5.5" rims are not easily found.
I stumbled across a set of '51 Chrysler rims that are that size (on the internet, offered by an auto recycler in TN, never got a look at them), but the seller wanted $65.00 ea, plus $20.00 shipping...

Yep, I may have to find some Chrysler Rims. My question about those were, do they have the clips for hubcaps on them? Also, do they have the hole for the alignment pin?

I checked with Charlie Nau and Al Saffrahn recently and neither of those guys had any 5.5. rims.

Russell - I don't know (for sure) if they have the hubcap clips or the the alignment hole. Send me an email if you are interested, and I will forward you the 'quote' I was sent, and contact info.

I have sold some older Chrysler's (40's I believe) wheels for use on Hudson and they had the clips and alignment holes. I do have one here though with no clips (but holes for them), no 5-1/2" - sorry,

Chrysler rims up thru about 1956 had the necessary clips for our hub caps, but after 1956 Chrysler switched to 14" rims. Later (I'm not sure just when) Chrysler's 15" rims used a completely different center with no clips for older style hub caps.
