Hudson Hood Emblem Wire Clip Locations
-
Hi,
Could someone please post a picture of a 1949 Hudson hood (1948-1950 should work too I assume since the design did not change) showing the inside and the location of the clips. I would like to have it as reference since, one of mine came off when I was removing the emblem and I do not know its proper location.
Thanks,
ChrisChristopher

I'm not sure I understand what cilp's you mean. The 48-49 had a die cast ornament that mounted with bolts treaded in from the bottom. No clips ,just bolt and lock washer ,I can post a photo if you like but thats what it will show,

I am referring to this emblem on the front of the hood, and the wires running to the the light behind the emblem held up against the hood using clips/tabs.Christopher

Well here is a 1950 underside of the hood -back side of the area in question. Also the path the wire folows to the firewall. Hope this helps you in your resto,
Roger
