Front Transmission Seal Single Lever Overdrive
-
Calling all seal experts - I am looking for the front seal for a single lever overdrive and came up with a NAPA 13421 or national 473435 from previous posts. The seal looks to be available. Before I go and buy one though, I want to make sure it's the seal I am looking for. I need the one that goes into the front bearing retainer officially called the "oil seal main drive gear bearing" Hudson part number 162075. Can you help?

Have you tried contacting Al Saffrahn, his specialty is trans. & rear ends (he has GOBS of parts, etc.)?

The 13421 was a good number in '98.
