Hudson Tool Kit
-
Does anyone know what all was in the tool kit# BZ-301613 listed for the 48-50 cars, and are they around somewhere?
Picture of the kit would be great -
Only things listed in the 1948-1954 Master Parts Catalog under tools are jacks - a screw type and a ratchet type.
1948-1949 Parts book doesn't have anything list either.

I corrected the part# should have been BZ-301613 not HA-301613.
I got the # from my master parts catalogue 480-490 series under section U1 -
I believe that the kit included a screwdriver and a pair of pliers. They were in a burlap pouch.
-
So THATS why the burlap pouch was in the trunk . Now to find where I put it.There was a pairn of pliers in it, but made in Tiawan..
-
Does anyone have the original one still that could snap a picture of what was in the pouch?
-
There was actualy two burlap pouch's . A smaller one held the bottom plate of the bumper jack. And kept it from rattling around in the tool bag,

I've often wondered what was in there, too. I've got an original burlap bag that looks as though it was actually never in a car, although it has nothing in it. Anyone know if they also came in the later Step-Downs, like '52-'54?
-
The one I had was in a 1948 Commodor 8 . I have had a few other bags come in with boxs of parts . But dont know what cars they were from ,do know the bags were not all the same. have seen a couple different sizes and styles. Some real neatly made some rather slopily sewn or cut.
