-
Upper part of the C-pillar with rear glass holes. Probably converting a Step-down into a never-produced Hudson pickup. Poor Step down Sedan....Christopher

ME thinks a 4 door to 2 door conversion - What do I win? :)>-
-
Ha!!! Rambo, that's what I thought at first too! But then I got to looking at it closer. It looks like, by the small window, that this is from a four door. hmm,...so that would make a miniature, if you know what I mean. But that's a story for another day. ;) ....OR! Maybe Rambo is right, but this is not to make a two door, it's what's left from the four door that was converted?
Super Dave, I like that idea of the fins.
Had someone else suggest it was to make a Lois Lane type sliding roof car. Whatever kind of car that was? I think I saw a picture once of a Hudson made like that. Maybe a tourist car in the Caribbean Islands? -
Here is Lois driving her Nash. Clark drove a Nash Healy from the 50's TV show

-
Found the other car I was referencing. Mentioned and pictured in the Butler book. Not from the Caribbean, but Madeira Islands near Africa. Page 280, bottom right.

Wow Paul, you brought that one back from the dead. :) You would never know it had all that rust, looking at the finished product. Just awesome!

I'm sorry, but that's just sad and ugly. If one was to go to this trouble, why not make it into a pick-up?
-
It's a Large-Mother-in-Law seat!
Kevin C. -
HA haha! Thanks for the post of the cream/yellow, um (??) rumble seat, car, thing. :D
Now THAT, took some imagination! -
I'll bet the family of the owner of this "cream/yellow, um (??) rumble seat, car, thing. " knows what they need for X-mas??, my guess is BONDO. That way they can do some more sculpting! What's up with the pork chop and rocket with the crooked narrow connecting piece?. Wonder if this picture was taken in Bellingham,MA?.
-
Isn't this a "reverse town car"? In this version, Madame sits in the rain, while Jeeves is comfy and dry in the driver's seat.
-
I would like to see more pictures. The reworked headlight gives the front end a longer appearance. It would be interesting to see what the bed area looks like.

Is this the one you were looking for Bent? sir Vival? or something like that...

hows your dads boat tail coming along
haven't heard anything for a while
Mike -
Still looks about the same. I did move it around and gave her a bath the other day. She was the focal point for our Christmas party. Pretty much had to be, we couldn't find anywhere else to put her. :D
I'm pushing to have the car at the San Mateo meet this June (or July?). I don't think it will be done. Just mostly together, and probably a pusher. -
you can do it and get it there,
we all know you can :> -
