WANTED: 1952-53 Hornet 2-dr club coupe door trim pieces, this is the stainless trim piece on the door (about middle of door below handle) that is part of the swoop that begins with the front fender rocket and ends with the porkchop, need both sides, thank you and pls feel contact me at: caribbean53@yahoo.com directly, thank you

I searched, and I only have one spare set, and as long as I still have my coupe, I should keep them as spares, since they are hard to come by. I do have two sets of the long ones that go on the coupe quarter panel. I may let one set go if someone needs them, for a reasonable offer. I also have a set of middle of door stainless for a '52-53 4 door. Kenneth

I have heard of using the quarter panel piece on the door. some surgery needed.
Never saw the results. -
Quarter panel piece has a different curvature, more curved than the door piece, won't look right. Would be better to splice pieces from 4 door, if you can find a person experienced with TIG welding thin stainless. Besides, the coupe quarter panel piece is rare also, why destroy it to make it into a poorly fitting door piece.

So this would be the same as 54 also? Will have to check to see what I got
