It is difficult to place a price on old vehicles that you do not see a group of them being sold. There are a lot of stepdown Hudson's out there so it is simple to do some back ground review to get a value. A truck like this is a good example of supply and demand. There is little or no supply so now you have to determine what the demand is. There are only a few folks out there that are willing to step up to the plate and buy a truck like this; however, there may not be anyone out there willing to pay a lot of money for a truck that needs a total restoration. I have played this game on both the buyer and seller position and seldom if ever been happy with the outcome. I like the build process but hate the sale process, particularly if the only offers you get are for less than the cost of the build--most often happens this way.

I am not too sure I would 'restore' it. I would much rather make it mechanically sound, get the interior seats done, make sure everything works, and leave it as much 'as is' as possible...

Would be a kick to drive and show, just as it is!

BTW - This one is out of CA. The owner actually started at least one thread on this truck, quite some time ago (do a search, you'll find it). From what I recall, it was 'in the family', and had just been given to him and transported to the CA area - and he was looking for advise and information on getting it up and going... From the sound of the 'offer' he is just looking to see what it is worth, most likely to sell it.

Yes it has a lot going for it as it sits if it was made to run and the inside freshened up.

Here's the link, from around Xmas of 2011 or so. Go about half way down the page of posts, and you'll see pictures of it...
