Need info and parts for a single lever OD trans
-
Hello everyone
I am in the middle of rebuilding my transmission and I need a few parts.
I am also having trouble locating the seals for my single lever OD transmission
Does anyone know what the part number would be for the front and rear seals. Also the two seals for the shift linkage?
Also my trans yoke is ruined and I need a replacement. Anyone have one I can buy?
Last I need a new speedometer drive gear. I will get the number of teeth my driven gear has this weekend.
Thanks
Brandon

Al Saffrahn will probably have all you need. I just rebuilt a single lever overdrive and he was a considerable help. He's listed in the White Triangle News. His number is 520-568-2911. Good luck.

Do you mean the clutch release yoke? Dr. Doug sells complete kits for replacing the bushings and yoke. And if you're in the East, I think he also has the other parts you need.

When I did my single lever OD tranny several years ago, I used these part numbers;
Front Seal; National P/N 62075
Rear Seal; National P/N 10684S
Shift Shaft Seal; Federal P/N 240009
Rev. Lok-out Seal; Federal P/N 340797
Solenoid Shaft Seal; National P/N 240698
I believe I got a gasket set for this from Dale Cooper (in WTN)
Good Luck,
Doug -
Great info I will check in with Al as well as those seal numbers. Dale Cooper does not carry those seals anymore.
The part I was referring to is the coupler that connects the driveshaft to the output shaft. The sealing surface is ruined, though I could sleeve it, I wanted to see if I could buy one cheaper than using the 40 dollar sleeve.

You mean the place you bolt the U-Joint down on ,

That is the part I’m referring too.

As I recall that is a different number part than the standard 3 speed. I may have one ,I'll check and see tommorow,

I think that part is called the trunnion. Check with a driveline shop in your area, or on-line at reiderracing.com ... they have them for at least some applications. Be sure to let them know how many splines on yours.
