Hudson AMC Rally Down Under.

    Having just returned from a week long rally with the Hudson AMC Car club of Australia inc. Here are just a few of the photos taken at the rally. Had a great week of fun, plenty of laughter with old friends and new friends. Loverly cars and the weather was superb.

    Huddy42, those are wonderful pictures of fine cars. Where are you located? My late mother-in-law was from Melbourne, a war bride from WWII.

    G'Day Geoff,
    I live in Sydney New South Wales, we held the rally in Canberra where there is plenty to do and see, we had a ball, we visited the war memorial in Canberra and spent a quite a few hours there, very interesting place.

    We just attended a AMC meet in St.Augustine Florida last weekend, Only two Hudsons showed up. . My 49 convert a and 49 Commodore Coupe. Seems we are not on the same page as our friends down under.

    Maybe we can show you guys something Dave.LOL.
    I left the '42 at home to keep the mileage down,
    We went in the '65 Rambler Classic.

    We had a good mix from early Essex,Hudsons and later model Ramblers. 27 cars in total.

    Bugger, I was just in the neighbourhood while the event was on. I've just driven down from Queensland to Melbourne, and rather than stop in at Canberra, I stayed a night in Yass before pressing on south. Good to read that the event went well.

    @54Superwasp Thanks mate! I'm doing OK. Living around 2000 kilometres further south than last we spoke. I've moved to Melbourne for five months or so. I had to use a new username as I could not for the life of me recall my 'regular' logins.

    I hope you're also doing well. I see the forum is still quite chatty.
