Watching TV tonight and they stop somewhere in Tenn. were they tried to buy a 37 Terraplane grill . This fellow also had a 54 Jet in his shed and a 48-49 Hudson and I think a 51 parts car setting outside along with a 52 Wasp sedan that looked like he was still driving. Anyone down in Tenn. know this fellow? Who knows what else he has in his buildings. Is he in the HET Club?
-
The episode was on before and the fellow was identified as a member or the HET and a local club. Do not remember the true name of that member.Oldfarmer1947@gmail.com

was it the guy named "tricky dick"? there was a thread on that one a while back. i can't remember his real name, i think they mention it. from the look of that place i would buy him some brews just to look around. i think that's how they sealed the deal. ;)

Thanks, I always seemed to see these programs months after everyone else. lol

I was in Iowa last year visiting my daughter and stopped at their store north of Davenport. I asked the girl if they had any Hudson parts. She didn't think so. "Then what is that 37 terraplane grill up on the wall?"
Fred -
Well, Fred, you did ask if they had any "Hudson" parts. Being a young 'un she might be forgiven for not knowing Terraplane was a division of Hudson!!! LOL

Fred, Mike also has a mid 20s essex radiator grill hanging in his office. Someone closed the louvers on it and painted a picture on them. I talked to him about selling the grill and radiator shell and he wasnt interested. He thinks they are, excuse the expression, neat. I told him about the HET club. The only thing he was interested in was buying my 1950 Schiewin (sp) bike. Also, after talking to his secretary I think Alex is right . PS the tatoos are real. lol
