-
Here is what looks to be a great resto candidate 37 panel truck. Looks complete.
http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/wsh/cto/3336499072.htmlwww.hudsonmotorcar.org -
Wow! Yep, they are still out there -
Think Dave S. needs a '37 to go along with that '36 of his...
Jake knows what he has - but appears to be fishing (for offers). I'd be very careful - -
Wow! What do you think the box on the roof is? An added vent?
-
Very cool!
Wish I ........
Jeff -
Wow!!! What a nice project. Wonder what it will sell for? Old Cars Weekly gives a price of about 8K.Brownie
-
the roof has a wood platform it is bolted on with 4 bolts it is to hold bull horns
I think this was a civil defense truck in the 40's the PA sytem is still in the truck along with the gen-set (I was at the auction that this was sold at on in Palisade MN)
-
What it sell for ?
-
$13,500 I think?
-
'Jake' must have posted it for sale on Craigslist right after purchase!
Looks like he's posted updates to the craigslist offer - more photos, etc., and wants a minimum of $25K for it... -
I dont think he wants to sell it that badly
-
Well, it still needs everything, so I think that's a little high, personally. But hey, it's not exactly like '37 panel trucks are a dime a dozen. I'm sure it's worth that to someone.
I wonder what the truck was used to promote . . . politician, maybe? -
Probably drove around announcing the scrap drives and keeping your victory gardens tended. Turn off your lights though the vehicle does not have any blackout lighting on it unless it was removed. I would crank that stuff up and roam the neighbourhood giving out safety tips and it would be awesome on Halloween rolling down dark roads with a sound effects record of monsters running. Yeah I got plenty of plans.....www.hudsonmotorcar.org
