Hudson Direction Indicators
-
Hudson accessory, for pre-1948 Hudson Cars. Got these from a friend, who was moving and couldn't take his Hudsons and parts with him. They appear to be more for a car than a pickup truck...

Just so you can see that the box isn't empty... ;-)
-
Wow! That looks like a rare find!
-
And, if you look close - there is a 5th (a 'spare'?) indicator light... :)>-
-
That is really a great find! I would guess that the directional indicators were not offered prior to 1948? As my 39 does not have them and I cant find anywhere that they were even an option. I dont plan to install them if they were not used that year but thoe are really nice!
-
Sorry, i meant to write my 39! Not 9. But anyway they are a nice accessory to have for someone that wants to use them. Great find!

Turn signals were first offered by Hudson as a factory option in 1940. The switch mounted under the steering wheel much like the '46 tru '53 models, but consisted of three push buttons = left for left, center to cancel and the right for right turn.Jerry
