I did via the local Goodyear dealer (so I could get them mounted and balanced for free). I purchased reproductions of the tire that were on the '50 Pacemaker Deluxe we own. We do NOT have 5 1/2 inch wheels. You can sort of see the front right in my Avatar. Mine were not nearly the price listed in the webpage in your link. By using the local dealer, I did not have to pay shipping either.

I too purchased these Goodyear All-Weather repros for my '37, probably 8 years ago, through the local Goodyear dealer. Seems to me there was some advantage to doing so but I cannot recall it. I do not recall the company from which the Goodyear dealer ordered them, but it might have been Lucas. The price, back then, was about half what it is now! But, I had lusted after these tires since the 1970's, but the darned Sears Allstate whitewalls that were on the cars, would not wear out! (Finally after 25 years I gave up and got the new Goodyear ones anyway!)

I DID opt for the 6.50's as opposed to the original 6.00 size. I wanted the better ride that a fatter tire would give. They rub against the fenders slightly if I turn the wheel all the way, but generally I'm glad I went with the fatter tire.

Go with radials, Paul! They are a much better ride.

Have bought 3 sets of 4 tires from Kelsey Tires 475/19 two sets of blackwalls and one set of whitewalls all with tubes and liners. Had them shipped to Nova Scotia. Great Service.
