A friend of a friend is looking for the polished 'band' that fits around the spare tire and is used on the Nash/Hudson continental kits. Any one have any ideas who might have one of these? Thanks.

Original; equipment was painted to match the portion that fit over the sidewall of the tire. If you want a polished stainless steel ring go to any shop that sells accessories for van conversions - will probably be less expensive than a so called "original" ring.

Thanks for the replies. I've passed along the advice to look at a van conversion shop, which is I think the right response, based on what I know about the car and owner. It's for a recent barn find '55 Nash, not sure how much restoration if any he's going to do to the car.

hoggyrubber, PAULARGETYPE, If it was a closer friend, or for a Hudson, I'd take you up on your offers. Thanks, anyway
