Looking for 1940 Super Six Hood trim
-
Does anybody have any pieces for this? Specifically, I need the top left (driver's) piece, and possibly both right and left cowl pieces (between hood and doors). This length of this piece is a little over half the hood length and lines up with the cowl. These don't have to be perfect as they will be painted/powder coated.
I also need the triangles for the hood lights, but will check with Eshelman's to see if they make those. If not, would be looking for those as well.
Thanks,
Tim

any chance for a photo or a measurement? I have have some Hudson trim , can't ID.

Sure here's a photo which shows the piece needed. The two pieces on the cowl that continue that top line (probably around 6" long) are also needed. Hopefully you can see the piece that is missing.
Appreciate your help. I'm doing this for someone else. The car is being made ready to run by friends of the owner, who is not well. They are trying to provide some positive experiences for the owner who is having health problems.
The pieces could be pitted (I think these are diecast, but not sure) because they told me they plan to powder coat them. They won't be replated.
Thanks,
Tim
