It looks like just about everyone is getting some snow this year, so now is a good time to get out and post some new pictures of our Hudson products in the snow for this annual event.

We don't get a lot of snow normally in GA, but were lucky enough to get some for Christmas this year. Temp was in the mid twenties this morning and the old "ugly" 51 srarted right up. Will drive this afternoon and have some fun. Richie.

Since my Hudson is still in the shop for interior I added this of my 36 Chevrolet. Hope no one minds.... I should get the Hudson back before the snow melts?

I'd have to clean out half the garage just to get to Gwen, besides the Tenn. DOT uses salt or a saline solution on the roads and I am not going to subject the old girl to that.

No such luck in Kansas yet. I was hoping for a white Christmas here just so I could get a picture of my Hudson in the snow. I wouldn't take it out on the roads here, the DOT uses all kinds of chemicals to melt snow and ice.

Ok, I got mine out this morning and took this picture here in Ohio. Now I put forth a challenge to fellow Club members Jerry and Dave Bean, and Sheldon Rody our DIRECTOR to get the Hudson, Essex and Terraplane out and take a picture.

Jerry, the 36 truck has the snow plow and tire chains on it and is loaded with firewood. It's just to dirty and covered with salt and snow to take a good picture. I will have to wait until I can clean her up a bit. Sorry, but thanks for asking.;)

Well, believe it or not there's a '48 coupe under this pile. I see by the tracks under the rear bumper that I've got a cotton tail living inside... the center floor section has been removed. Fortunately, the interior has been removed as well.

Thanx, guys, for posting all these great pictures of Hudsons in the snow. Serves to remind me why I ain't planning on moving back to Maine any time soon!!!!

I might drive north a ways to find some snow, just so I can say "Yep, that's snow" - then turn around and drive back south.

This photo was sent to me by the car's owner shortly after he acquired it, and it was first run in color in the WTN a few years ago. I believe the car was sold shortly afterwards. His wife and daughter are in the car. Believe the shot was taken after an unusual snow storm in Tennesseeeeeeee. B)

Let us guess - car's painted white which is why you can't see it in the picture??

This is a 50 pacemaker from 3 years ago. Can anyone tell me why when I try to open some of the pics of Hudsons in the snow it only shows a narrow portion of the pic even when I click on it again. In other cases when I click on it again it widens the pic to the whole view. Thanks. Rob

The question was about the 52 posted by Uncle Josh in the snow. Cos its a model of a 52 not the real car. If I had posted that pic I would have added Godzilla for size reference and to make it a really super believable pic. :woohoo:

I couldn't get "DOC" to come out and play, so I took in some rays myself. We gots to protect our Detroit iron from the MN salt, so no popping out here till springs first rain. Hey Jerre, feed the damn rabbit please, at least til spring!!! .

By the way, we had quite a lot of snow here but it melted by the last week-end. But don't worry, I know it will come back quite fast...

The British will tell ya we don't speak English here in the States, Michel. We use "incredible" and "unbelievable" as if to say "awesome" or "amazing". In our defense, at least it isn't "OMG".

Thanks Hudson308. This forum helps me not only with my passion for Hudsons but will improve my writing. I like to learn new words or expressions. Don't know the meaning of "OMG". Will do a research on the net for that. I see it here and there sometimes but can't guess what it is. As for your British example, I understand that because lot of French people fron France ( gladly not all)don't understand our French spoken in Québec. Thanks again. Michel.

With the advent of "Texting, Twittering" and all of those other things you can do with a cel phone and/or small hand held computer came a new language. Terms like "BFF" (best friend forever) and "OMG" (oh my gosh-or something close) have become secondplace. Not sure I plan to learn all the terms, but my grandkids seem to pop them off faster than I can ask what they mean. By the way, for a former corporate guy it is comforting to know that "HR" no longer stands for Human Resources but now goes with "Husdon Rules!!!"

I love the pictures of all the Hudsons in the snow. SO, here is my contribution or at least as close as it will get.
Tennessee uses thousands of tons of salt each year, and I won't submit the old girl to that.......Here's GWEN and Here's SNOW, about as close as they are coming, while I have her.
