Finally Drivable

Shes finally on the road but far from done! I've been working on it hard nearly every day trying to get it ready for Spokane and I think I'm going to make it. Here is a bunch of pics of what it looks like outside.

Very nice - to say the least !!!!!

It's exciting to see some freshly restored cars hitting the road this summer. What color top do you plan to put on it? Hope to see you in Spokane!Take a Ride in a Hudson Jet!
-
Rob, take heart that even if you dont quite get her finished for Spokane, she still will look awsome and just think how many people have one of these puppies to drive and feel the Hudson pleasure

Rob,
The car looks great. Looks like we are fighting the same time clock. Mine is in for interior (the one thing I need to learn how to do!) and if I were a guessing man I would say that when it is in Spokane it will still not be finished. Look forward to seeing you there

Rob-
She looks awesome!! So glad you stuck with it. You should be very proud of what you have accomplished. I'm proud of 'ya!! -
Thanks for all of the good and encouraging words from everyone. It really helps with the motivation
. I'm really looking forward to seeing all of you who can make it to Spokane. If things go as planned I'm just going to put on the top skeleton and stretch a piece of canvas over it to keep the heat off. I won't be starting the interior until I get back from the National. -

Rob, thanks again for sharing your journey with the forum. I know from our correspondence how much dedication and hard work you have put into this car. BETTER THAN NEW would be my description... but in reality that only matters to you. You can take pride in knowing you have resurrected a special Hudson automobile to be enjoyed not only by yourself but all who view it.
Bravo Buddy... Bravo! -
Thanks everyone for so many enthusiastic comments:). I plan to have gray seats about the color of the instrument cluster surround and a white top. The door panels will be the same red as the vinyl on the dash. Im thinking of possibly accenting the gray seats with piping the same red as the door panels. What do you think?
