    Hello from Tulsa, OK ....

It is snowing this morning but at least it is above 0 degrees :)

I am on the road most days, when I am not driving I spend

    time on the internet.

I like Hudsons, chevys, mopars

Good Morning, trulyvintage! It's amazing how many Hudson folks are also Mopar fans. Apparently you like Fords, as well. Nice '36! Stay warm and welcome to the forum!

Goodday trulyvintage. It is good to have you on the Forum. Nice 36! Looks to be in great condition. Nice Hudson as well. I expect it is a 49 Brougham? Looks to be a bit of work in this one. Is this your first Hudson? Would love to see some photo's of your other cars. I also have a thing for Chevrolets.

Welcome aboard!!! You'll find this forum to be real "people" friendly. You got problems - somebody will have the answer.

I'm one of the nut cases on this forum - I like Hudsons, Mopar and (sigh) Ramblers. :D

I have a lot of Hudson related material on my web site (the following address is temporary - the HET club VP/webmaster/guru/and all around good guy is putting together a more permanent site. For the moment

    hetclub.org/burr will suffice.

Y'all have a good one, hear.

:)Welcome to the Forum, A great group of people that are very helpful and give encouragement when we get in a problem spot with our Hudson's. Yes, I like Hudson's along with mopars and International's and Ramblers. Actually, I like all older cars, be it Ford or Chevy or whatever. That Hudson looks like a real project, nice Ford roadster. I suspect your post is showing your one of "your loads" and that you transport cars for a living? Is the Hudson in question the 2 door that was recently posted to Craigs List in Texas? Brougham Hudsons seem to be getting a lot of attention lately. Welcome... to the Hudson BBS.

    Yes, I do custom transport.

I haul with my own equipment.

The Hudson you see pictured is a 1950 model

that belongs to Sean in Plymouth, Maine.

I shipped it for him last year from Portland, Oregon.

Plymouth, Maine - I lived in (southern) Maine for near 70 years, afore I moved to Memphis, TN, and I'd never heard of Plymouth, Maine. I can see why - it's one of those small towns tucked into the middle of nowhere up by Bangor.

Jim- I think I've posted about this before, but went back through this post and didn't find it.

There' an antique tractor board at www dot ytmag dot com- look on the left for "hauling board"- you can enter either "need hauled" or "available to haul". It has a pretty good readership, might help you line up some loads.

Interesting you're going to Rochester, WA- That's where I grew up. I live about 20 miles from there now- I sure didn't get far!.

For all those in the path of the 'historic blizzard' I sympathize with you .....:(

I am leaving Evanston, WY where it is well below zero with the wind chill and headed west along I-80 to warmer temperatures in California ;)

If anyone needs hauling, I have about 20 feet of room to Oakland, CA

From Oakland, I have room for parts down to Los Angeles.

From Los Angeles, I am headed east again across the country to
Boston, MA - I have about 18 feet of room to haul a car

No offense intended, but I'm going to move this thread to "Discussions", which is our place for all Forum messages not specifically Hudson-oriented. Car transport is a service that's very helpful for Hudson owners, but in general the "Hudson" board was intended for technical and historical issues, restoration tips or other Hudson-related matters.
