I need to get the door panels off of my 39 Hudson but not sure how the handels come off. Any suggestions?

you have to push in hard on the escutheon plate & between it & the handle itself you will see the handle's shaft with a small pin holding the pin to the door mechanism. I've usually found using a nail, which is about the correct diameter, will push it through BUT you'll probably have to use a hammer to do so. Sometimes this operation, since it's usually hard to push the escutheon in far enough & at the same time try to drive the pin out, requires 2 people.
