Wanted: early Hudson touring car
-
I'm seeking an early Hudson phaeton or touring car. Prefer a maintained, mostly original car or an older, quality restoration. Will use for touring, not show. My grandfather worked for Hudson in the early years. David

David, I suggest that you look through some of the back postings here on the Hudson Forum, in case someone's listed one for sale. Also check Ebay and Hemmings Motor News (online).
If this is a long-term plan of yours, you may also want to join the Hudson-Essex-Terraplane Club and start getting their magazine, which has a large classified section that lists Hudsons for sale. Homepage at http://www.hudsonclub.org/ . -
This thread lists a '22 Essex touring car. The car did not sell on e-bay.

David, Don't know where you live, but there was recently a 25 Hudson in good shape on Kijijji.com Guelph Ontario site for about 8k Canadian. That's about 6500 U.S. dollars. And that is the asking price. Looks solid. Guelph is about 1 hour from Toronto, 2 hours from Buffalo. Good luck.Geoff.

I thought the fellow wanted a touring or phaeton? The '25 is a closed car.
