As a warm up to next year's National Meet, we have these home movies, taken by a United Air Lines pilot, of the Golden Gate Bridge (please note the lack of traffic) and other points around the Bay. Look for some Hudsons, and enjoy.

Awesome - loved the "state-of-the-art" air transportation. LOL Noticed one tail dragger coming in for a perfect 3-point landing. Not much traffic on the city streets either - must have been a Sunday and everybody was home chowing down on the Sunday pot roast!!!! :)

    Thanks for sharing.

A lot of open land down there. Think I could get a building lot? Hard to accept that the attrractive airline hostest is most likely in her 90's now?

Very nice films! Thank you rbennet47. I clicked on: ''Spectacular 1955 Video'' that is about 20 minutes long. I could spot one Stepdown (53?) at 2minutes 21 sec. and two more ( one folowing the other) at: 9 minutes 34 sec. A lot of nice cars there. Maybe more Hudsons but my eyes are not what they used to be... Michel
