Mine came from Jason Fischer at Vintage Coach. BL

I don't recall where I got this picture, but it was represented to be an original Hudson dealer part. is either Jason' or Paul's like this?

Someone will surely correct me if I'm wrong but I dont think there is a right or wrong mirror. It seems to me Hudson used several different suppliers of these and you got what ever they were buying at the time. And just because the "Dealer" put it on does not mean he sourced it from Hudson,

No doubt dealers installed what they could buy at the right price.. but..The Hudson Company did have a part number for the outside mirror. so there should be an "official" one. PN 220865 Fits L&R 1948-1954

Dave if that is a real Hudson mirror it should have a part number in the base. Take a real close look ,sometines its so small you need a magnifier to read them. But Hudson put numbers on most everything ,

From what I have been told, the one in the picture is pretty much original (from what I can see). Note the domed back of the mirror proper. Paul's is identical to these except the back of the mirror is flatter, or not as "domed". I have a set of Paul's and could post a pic if someone wants to see it.

Paulargetype those are great looking mirrors. I would be interested in one for my pacemaker. What do they run for? Also how do you accept payment?
Thanks

Super Dave, I had two mirrors back in the 60s that came in Hudson factory boxes that looked like the one in your picture. I had them on my hardtop and at one of the national meet someone broke one off. I could not find one to replace it so I removed the other one and replaced them with something else. Hudson did have one that the factory put on at the time of production. I of course cant find the one I took off.
