Inner & Outer Tie Rod Ends
-
Are there any less expensive "swap" Inner & Outer Tie Rods ends other than the $100 per end parts ($400 total) at one of On-line "Older Car" auto parts stores.
-
Pacemaker - Try to find MOOG - ES 416 L & R. You should get them at any good parts store for about $25. Same as '50s Ford pickup. Norm
-
Great!!! Is that price per inner and outer end so total would be $100ish?
-
As Norm says, Fords of the era. My notes say 49-51 Ford cars, small Ford trucks 35-52, Mercury 39-48 and 49-52 Pilot (a UK Ford).
Apart from Ford and stepdowns no one else seems to have used that tie rod end. -
Rock Auto has them $22.79 plus shipping.
