O/D Kickdown Switch ???
-
Is the O/D Kickdown switch supposed to have a solid, definite "click" to it?
If so, from whom in the Club do I purchase a new one? -
No click, it connects one pair of terminals in the released position and the other pair in the depressed position, it does not 'click'. You can check it with a powered test lamp.

Hi PM500
The Overdrive section of the Mechanical Procedures Manual has a piece on troubleshooting and the bit on testing the kick-down switch is very useful - speaking from experience last month! ;)

Thank you! I own the manual. I just happened to have the floor pane out to put on the heat shield and pushed the switch a few times.
Now that I have the floor back in, I will move on to reconnecting the O/D completely.
I still need to figure out the bullet tip wire end on the Governor (what is the little screw size, #4-32 TPI ???) and get the Relay hooked up. -
If you still need a kickdown switch, I have several- let me know.
